Say the Words: Pragmatism

Ask yourself why…

Political and corporate discourse has shifted:
• away from Climate DENIAL;
• and beyond Climate SCEPTICISM;
• towards a new brand of Climate PRAGMATISM.

This can be interpreted in one of two key ways:

A. If this reflects a market maturing – progressing from principle and debate, to practice and delivery – this is good news. If it signals broad acceptance of climate risk, coupled with a focus on climate action, it could be very good news.

B. However, if this mere compromise and climbdown, dressed up in management-speak to look more like problem-solving than sell-out, it is bad news. If it means do-less, or worse do-nothing, then it could be really bad news.

So, A or B? What do you think?
